Sponsorship disclosure policy
Draft, pending legal review. This document is a working draft written by the LynkBack team. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, is not yet in force, and may change materially before launch. Bracketed items are placeholders.
Our rules for every paid placement
- Visible label. Each placement shows a clear label, such as “Sponsored”, that a reader would notice near the content.
- Qualified links. Every compensated link carries
rel="sponsored"(ornofollow) for the whole paid term. Publishers can't remove it, and we verify it after publication and keep checking. - Relevance and placement. No placements in navigation, footers or as editorial endorsements, and none on unrelated content.
- Moderation. We refuse deceptive, unsafe or prohibited content, and require disclosure on everything we accept.
- Remedy. If a label or attribute is removed during the paid term, we open a remediation process with the publisher and, if needed, refund according to the contract.
What we do not do
- We do not sell undisclosed paid links.
- We do not promise rankings, link equity, or “dofollow” links for paid placements.
- We do not manipulate Domain Rating or any third-party score, and we do not guarantee SEO results.
- We do not pay or reward anyone for editorial backlinks, and referral rewards never depend on a link or its attributes.
Third-party data
Metrics from third parties, such as Ahrefs Domain Rating, are labeled with their source and date. Traffic figures are estimates unless a publisher verifies its own analytics, which we show separately.
